Biography

of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto, and an adjunct scientist with the Bloorview Research Institute at Holland Bloorivew Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. He currently holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Pediatric Concussion. His research focuses on developing, evaluating and implementing clinical and educational programming to best support children and youth with concussion, along with those involved in their lives. In addition to his research and clinical work, Dr. Reed has lived a life immersed in competitive sport, and more specifically, competitive contact sport. Playing competitive lacrosse from the age of five, he has participated at all levels of the sport and has spent 12 years coaching minor lacrosse within the Toronto area. Dr. Reed’s passion is helping kids do the things they need, want and love to do.
